Roman Pakhomov is a Non-Executive Director, Chairman of the Strategy Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. He was a member of Aeroflot’s Board of Directors 2013 – 2017 and was re-elected to the Board in 2018.
Roman Pakhomov has been CEO of Avia Capital Service since November 2010. In the same year he also became a consultant to the Deputy Director of Rostec.
Previously Roman Pakhomov served as Director and Adviser to the CEO of State Transport Company Russia (2009-2010), the Executive Director of aviation company Atlant Soyuz (2008-2009) and held the posts of Vice-President, First Deputy CEO and CEO of VIM-Avia (2004-2008). Between 2001 and 2004 he held the position of CEO of Center-Capital and before that was Head of the Internal Control Service at Marine Joint Stock Bank (1999-2001). From the end of 1998 to 1999, Roman Pakhomov was the Deputy Head of the Credit and Securities Service at Novorossiysk Shipping Company after serving as the Chief Specialist of the Organizational Support of Business division in the Department for the Development of Regional Corporate Business Divisions and Organizational support of Inkombank in 1998. He began his professional career at NSC Arkhangelsk. Roman Pakhomov graduated from the Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy. Roman Pakhomov holds an MBA from the Higher School of International Business of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, specializing in financial management, banking management, and an MBA from Kingston University (UK), specializing in international management.
He was born on March 4, 1971, in Havana, Cuba.
