BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF JSC “AEROFLOT”

June 2, 2011, Moscow – JSC “Aeroflot” Board of Directors ordinary meeting chaired by the Transport Minister of Russia Federation Igor Levitin was held today.

Board of Directors considered the corrective of the JSC “Aeroflot” organizational framework and Management Board body.  It was decided to include the position of Deputy general director for strategy and alliances terminating position of Deputy general director for strategic and corporative development. The Board of Directors approved Giorgio Callegari as Deputy general director for strategy and alliances and assigned him as the member of the Management Board. Therewith Igor Parakhin has been approved as Technical director of JSC “Aeroflot” and assigned as member of the Management Board.

In the first quarter of 2011 the seat load factor increased from 73% to 74%, a 1.1 ppt growth compared to the previous year. Passenger turnover grew by 20%. Number of carried passenger increased by 19% and totaled 2.8 mln passengers compared to 2.3 mln passengers in 2010. According to the management accounting based on Russian accounting standards net profit in the first quarter of 2011 totaled 1.1 bln rubles versus net loss in sum of 115 mln rubles in 2010.

     The Board of Directors approved list of candidates for the Board of directors that will be considered on the forthcoming extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on June 29, 2011. The list has been composed based on shareholders’ suggestions that were accepted not later than May 30, 2011 pursuant to legislation of Russian Federation.

Dushatin Leonid Alekseevich– deputy general director of CJSC “National Reserve Corporation”;
