July 13, 2011, Moscow- JSC “Aeroflot” Board of Directors ordinary meeting was held today.
The Board of directors of JSC “Aeroflot” elected Androsov Kirill Yurievich as Chairman.
The Board of directors approved structure of three committees of the Board of directors of JSC “Aeroflot”:
The Board of Directors approved the Development Strategy of the Aeroflot Group through 2025 and the Implementation Program for the approved Development Strategy. The key objectives of the Group for the period till 2025 are: to become Europe’s top five airline by passenger traffic and revenue; to become world’s top twenty airline by passenger traffic and revenue; air carriage development via main hub in Moscow maintaining share of transit passengers not less than 60%; to maintain broad market presence.
The Board of Directors approveda new organizational structure of JSC "Aeroflot" and instructed the Management Board to make the appropriate changes in the internal governing documents of the Company. Implementing of the organizational changes will consolidate management of current production activity within a single functional unit. Unique planning and coordination center of production activity will be created - OSS, NSS, including activities in basic and non-basic airports, crisis management, management of product quality and customer focus. Also, above mentioned changes will provide possibilities in creating management functions of the Services & Maintenances in accordance with best international practices (separation of management functions of the Services & Maintenances) and ensure the effective management of core assets while maintaining direct cross-functional relationships at the business units’ level.
The Board of Directors approved work plan for a period from July 2011 till June 2012.
