AEROFLOTACQUIRED JSC “VLADIVOSTOK AVIA”, JSC “SARATOV AIRLINES”, JSC “SAT AIRLINES”, JSC “ROSSIYA AIRLINES”, JSC “ORENBURG AIRLINES”
November 15, 2011, Moscow– LLC “Aeroflot – Finance” (principal subsidiary of JSC “Aeroflot”) received aircraft assets from Rostekhnologii in exchange for shares of JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines”.
LLC “Aeroflot – Finance” received previously owned by Rostekhnologii 52.156% of JSC “Vladivostok Avia”, 51% of JSC “Saratov Airlines”, 100% of JSC “SAT Airlines” 75% minus 1 share of JSC “Rossiya Airlines”, 100% of JSC “Orenburg Airlines” in exchange for 3.55% of JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines”.
Market value of every received airline was determined by independent appraiser. Share price of JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines” has been agreed based on data from RTS Stock Exchange for underlying period.
By 2025 Aeroflot Group plans to achieved 45% of Russian civil aviation market.
The above mentioned transaction is one of the phases in development of long term relationship between Rostekhnologii and JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines”. This will include lease of modern domestic and foreign produced aircraft, creating distribution system of spare parts and components and formation of joint business in aircraft overhaul.
