April 19, 2012, Moscow. – On April 18, 2012 JSC “Aeroflot” received into direct disposal from JSC “Aeroflot-Finance” (subsidiary of JSC “Aeroflot”)shares of companies, integrated in Aeroflot Group in November 2011: JSC “Orenair”, JSC “SAT Airlines” and JSC “Rossiya Airlines”.
JSC “Aeroflot” received into direct disposal 100% shares of JSC “Orenair”, 100% shares of JSC “SAT Airlines”, 75% minus 1 share of JSC “Rossiya Airlines”.
Share transfer transaction was executed according to JSC “Aeroflot” Board of Directors decision adopted in February 2012 and is aimed at development of cooperation with airlines, which are members of Aeroflot Group in the course of Aeroflot Group integration.
Integration will allow Aeroflot Group to develop large-scale aviation holding, which will be able to compete with world leading carriers. Three large regional centers will be developed in South, North-West and Far East regions of Russia. Total traffic of the Group will expand nearly four-fold by 2025. This will allow Aeroflot Group to enterEurope’s top five airline list by passenger traffic and revenue and world’s top twenty global airline list.
