NET PROFIT OF AEROFLOT GROUP FOR 1H2012 TOTALED $7.1 MLN ACCORDING TO IFRS

September 05, 2012, Moscow.– Net profit of Aeroflot Group for the first 6 months of 2012 totaled $7.1 mln. according to IFRS.

Revenue of the Group increased by 54% and totaled $3,614.4 mln. Traffic revenue went up by 64% and amounted to $3,162.6 mln. The substantial increase in revenue was a result of growth of the Group’s operations volume in the first 6 months of 2012 as well as consolidation of OJSC “Rossiya airlines”, JSC “SAT Airlines”, JSC “ORENAIR”, JSC ”Vladivostok Air” integrated in Aeroflot Group on 15.11.2011.

Operating costs of the Group increased by 64% and totaled $3,516.3 mln. The increase in operating costs also was caused by growth of the Group’s operations volume and effect from consolidation of financial results of airlines integrated in Aeroflot Group in November 2011. Operating profit of Aeroflot Group for the first 6 months of 2012 totaled $98.1 mln.

EBITDA of the Group amounted to $247.5 mln., EBITDA margin totaled 7%.

The main influence on financial results of Aeroflot Group for the first 6 months of 2012 was exerted by consolidation of financial results of four airlines. Full integration of subsidiary airlines in the structure of the Group is currently in an active phase and yet has not been completed.
