Aeroflot Group achieved net profit USD 14.1 million in 1 Half 2009 according to IFRS

Group income in 1 Half 2009 amounted to USD 1 456 million which is 32% less compared to the 1 H 2008 result. Operational expenditures amounted to USD 1 352 million which is 32 % less compared to the same period of previous year. Operating profit was USD 104 million which is USD 27 million less than the result of 1H 2008.<o:p></o:p>

According to Aeroflot’s CFO - Shamil Kurmashov, the reduction of net profit was caused by purchasing power decrease and reduction in business activity.<o:p></o:p>
