December 26, 2007. Moscow. – On December 25, 2007 the ordinary meeting of the Board of Directors of the JSC “Aeroflot” has been held. The meeting has adopted the Plan of production and financial and economic activities, as well as the budget of the Company for the year of 2008.
The plan encompasses increasing in 2008 of the company’s fleet up to 100 airplanes comparing with 83 airplanes available in the end of 2007. Special measures aimed at widening of the flight network allow to expect increasing of the passengers flow by 11,8%, including by 29,0% on internal lines.
In 2008 the Company plans to service 9,4 million of passengers, which is approximately by 16% higher comparing with same figure in 2007. At the same time the Company plans to increase its passengers flow on domestic directions by 35,4%.
The Company also plans to increase its operation expenditures by 18,2% in comparison with the year 2007. Totally these expenditures are expected to come to 90 661,8 million rubles.
It is also stipulated to increase funding designated for implementation of the new technologies (e-tickets, independent registration and booking).It is planned to secure the increase of the average salary of the Company’ staff by 18.2% backed by enhancing of the labor efficiency by 11.3%.
The Board of Directors has reviewed the state of affaires under the project of consolidation of far-eastern aviation companies, the Board has issued instructions to accelerate the process of obtaining of the relevant approvals and coordination of necessary legal regulations to ensure successful completion of the project. The Board of Directors has examined the details on the progress in realization of the plan on consolidation of the companies JSC “Dalavia” and JSC “Sakhalinskiye Aviatrassy” Airlines”. It has been mentioned, that the plan of financial recovery of the JSC “Dalavia” being implemented in cooperation with the Aeroflot has given positive effect, which enabled the company in the year of 2007 to enhance its financial performances and to reach the level of profitability.
