JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines” has summarized the Company’s operating results for the month of July and seven months of 2007.
In July 2007 the Company has served 846,6 thousand passengers (including 6,4 thousand on charter flights), made 2 billion 530 million passenger-kilometers. The occupancy rate for the passengers seats in July was 77,4%, revenue load rate was 59,5%.
In comparison with 2006 figures the volume of operations in July has increased: air-passenger operation - 110,1% (+77,7 thousand passengers), passenger turnover - 107,9% (+185,9 million passenger-kilometers). Air-passengers operation on international airlines has increased by 8,3% (+42,5 thousand passengers). In accordance with adopted strategy performance of passenger operation on internal airlines was growing rapidly – by 13.5% (+35,2 thousand passengers).
During seven months of 2007 Aeroflot has served 4 million 620 thousand passengers, which corresponds to the growth of 16,4% (+650,8 thousand passengers) comparing with same figure in the last year. Increase of passengers turnover comprised 14,4% (+1753,8 million passenger-kilometers). The occupancy rate for the passengers seats was 69,8%, revenue load rate was 55,0%.
Joint Stock Company "Aeroflot - Russian Airlines" (AFLT) is a recognized leader on Russian civil aviation market, in fact the company is the national carrier.
