OJSC "Aeroflot – Russian Airlines" has summed up results of its work within June and six months of 2007.
In June 2007 the airline company carried 750,3 thousand passengers 2 bln. 194 mln passenger-kilometers were implemented. In June the rate of the occupied passenger seats made 72,5%, while the rate of payload revenue - 56,2%.
As compared with 2006, the operation volume made: in terms of passenger carriage – 112,5% (+ 83,1 thousand passengers), in terms of passengers turnover – 109,3% (+ 186,9 mln passenger-kilometers). At that international carriage increased by 11,0% (+ 48,7 thousand passengers), and domestic transportation by 15,2% (+ 34,4 thousand passengers).
Within six months of 2007 Aeroflot has carried 3 mln 773 thousand passengers that is more by 17,9% (+573,1 thousand passengers) as compared with previous year. Growth of passenger turnover made 15,9% (+1567,9 mln. passenger-kilometers). The rate of the occupied passenger seats has made 68,4%, rate of payload revenue – 54,2%.
JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines” (AFLT) is a certain leader of civil aviation in Russia, actually a national carrier. Being the largest domestic airline company it transports over 7 mln. of people annually and together with its subsidiaries – about 9 mln., i.e. 23% of the total amount of Russian air passengers.
