JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines” has summarized the Company’s operating results for the month of May and five months 2007
In May 2007 the Company has served 668,7 thousand passengers, made 1 billion 976 million passenger-kilometers. The occupancy rate for the passengers seats in May was 67,5%, revenue load rate was 53,5%.
In comparison with 2006 figures the volume of operations in May has increased: air-passenger operation - 112,7% (+75,2 thousand passengers), passenger turnover - 112,7% (+222,7 million passenger-kilometers). Air-passengers operation on international airlines has increased by 9,4% (+37,9 thousand passengers). In accordance with adopted strategy performance of passenger operation on internal airlines was growing rapidly – by 19.6% (+37,3 thousand passengers).
During five months of 2007 Aeroflot has served 3 million 022 thousand passengers, which corresponds to the growth of 19,3% (+488,8 thousand passengers) comparing with same figure in the last year. Increase of passengers turnover comprised 17,6% (+1378,4 million passenger-kilometers). The occupancy rate for the passengers seats was 67,4%, revenue load rate was 53,7%.
