Aeroflot Results Of Business For February And Two Months Of 2007

“Aeroflot - Russian Airlines” OJSC summarized the results of its work for February and two months of 2007.

In February 2007 the airline transported 517.7 thousand passengers (including 1.9 thousand passengers of charter flights) and 9.2 thousand tons of mail and freights. The company performed 1 billion 592 million passenger-kilometers and 194.5 million tonne-kilometers. In August the occupation ratio of passenger seats amounted to 65.4%, the ratio of the revenue load was 53.4%.

In comparison with the figures of 2006 the volumes of works amounted to: 121.7% (+92.2 thousand passengers) on transportation of passengers, 117.2% (+234.2 million passenger-kilometers) on passenger turnover, 109.4% (+16.7 million tonne-kilometers) on tonne-kilometers, 123.6% (+ 82.3 tons) on transportation of mail, 99.2% (-72.2 tons) on transportation of freights. At that, transportations of passengers on international lines increased by 10.0% (+30.6 thousand passengers) and by 51.9% (+61.6 thousand passengers) on domestic lines.

For the two months of 2007 Aeroflot transported 1 million 102 thousand passengers and 17.3 thousand tons of mail and freights, performed 3 billion 405.5 million passenger-kilometers and 405.5 million tonne-kilometers. The occupancy ratio of passenger seats amounted to 66.1%, the revenue load was higher then the last year’s level by 0.1%.

The flying time of the fleet in general increased by 14.5% (+5586 hours) in comparison with the last year’s level. The fleet of passenger aircrafts in general increased by 7 units in comparison with the last year due to replenishment of the fleet with A320 and Boeing-767 aircrafts and amounted to 90 aircrafts.
