Moscow, 15 January 2014 – JSC “Aeroflot” (the “Aeroflot”, Moscow Exchange ticker: AFLT) announces that the United States Securities and Exchange Commission has declared effective the registration statement with respect to Aeroflot’s Level I American depositary receipt programme (the “ADR Programme”).
The ADR Programme will be open for deposits from 9 a.m. (EST) on 14 January 2014. The ADRs ISIN is US00777K1060, and the ADR SYMBOL is AERZY.
Aeroflot has launched this ADR Programme as part of its efforts to gain access to a wider pool of investors, including on the U.S. over-the-counter market.
Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas acts as the depositary bank for the ADR Programme, as well as for the existing global depositary receipt (GDR) programs of Aeroflot. Each ADR and GDR represents five Aeroflot ordinary shares.
