On domestic routes, Group traffic and RPKs grew by 33.2% and 28.2% year-on-year, respectively, in April 2015. This growth was mainly driven by increased flight frequencies and carrying capacities on high-demand routes. On international routes, Group traffic was down by 3.4% and RPKs were down by 3.6% year-on-year, respectively, in April 2015. Aeroflot airline’s traffic and RPKs increased by 1.9% and 2.9% year-on-year, respectively. The Company’s growth on international routes was supported by a decrease in competition as a result of lowering of flight frequencies to Russia by several foreign carriers, as well as by growth of international transit traffic through Sheremetyevo airport.

In April 2015, the seat load factor decreased by 3.2 p.p. year-on year to 74.4% for the Group and by 3.6 p.p. year on year to 75.7% for the Company.
