Moscow, 13 July 2018 – PJSC Aeroflot announces launch of service to Kyzylorda (Kazakhstan) from 15 July 2018. The flights will operate four times a week on aircraft Airbus A320 and Sukhoi Superjet 100.
Kyzylorda is an important industrial center in Kazakhstan with population of almost 400k and is the closest airport to the Baikanur cosmodrome – the Kazakh spaceport leased by Russia for launching both manned and unmanned spacecraft.
Kazakhstan is an important market for Aeroflot. The Russian flag carrier is actively developing its route network to Kazakhstan, increasing the number of flights to and destinations within the country. With the launch of flights to Kyzylorda, Aeroflot will fly to a total of nine destinations in Kazakhstan. For the 2018 summer season Aeroflot has increased the frequency of flights to two current destinations – Astana (from nine to 12 flights per week) and Aktobe (from four to seven flights per week). In 2017, Aeroflot carried over 600,000 passengers on regular flights between Moscow and cities in Kazakhstan.

Tuesday, Friday, Sunday – Flight SU 1960 will depart Sheremetyevo at 23:35, and arrive in Kyzylorda at 6:10 (the following day)
Thursday – Flight SU 1960 will depart Sheremetyevo at 22:40 and arrive in Kyzylorda at 5:10 (the following day).
Kyzylorda–Moscow (all times local):
Monday, Wednesday, Saturday – Flight SU 1961 will depart Kyzylorda at 07:20 and arrive at Sheremetyevo at 08:15.
Friday – Flight SU 1961 will depart Kyzylorda at 06:20 and arrive at Sheremetyevo at 07:15.
