The transfer of these flights is part of Aeroflot Group’s measures to create a strong transit hub. Working with Sheremetyevo airport will allow the Group to streamline its route network and give passengers convenient transit opportunities on important domestic routes.
Ground services, including check-in and aircraft ground handling, will be carried out by LLC Sheremetyevo Handling, a subsidiary of JSC MASh. LLC Sheremetyevo Handling has purchased additional equipment and hired and trained new personnel to meet growing demand for services in view of increasing passenger traffic from Aeroflot and other airlines’ plans to transfer to Sheremetyevo airport.
